Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) course

What is AOWD?

A diving course for graduates of the basic OWD course that expands their sensitivity to the underwater environment, their diving skills and enables dives down to a depth of 40 m.

AOWD includes:

Theoretical preparation and the practical application of skills in five adventure dives in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Egypt and other destination as part of our diving trips. Students expand their knowledge and skills in the area of ‘underwater navigation’ and deep sea diving’ and in three chosen fields, e.g.:

  • night diving
  • wreck diving
  • diving from a boat
  • dry suit diving
  • multilevel diving
  • underwater photography
  • diving at higher elevations
  • diving below ice
  • underwater naturalist
  • diving with enriched air (up to 40% O2)

AOWD course price: CZK 5,900 (EUR 220)

The price includes instructional materials, the international PADI certificate, theoretical and practical instruction, photo documentation of your course and membership in Devil Diving Club Olomouc.

The price does not include dive costs and gear rental.

Students continuing immediately after the OWD course are provided a 20% discount from our diving school!

Dates and conditions:

Dates are by agreement, typically in the form of extended weekends or stays lasting several days in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia or as part of other planned diving events.

Students must be qualified as an Open Water Diver with PADI or another organisation (e.g. IANTD, CMAS, SSI, UDI), or be continuing students from the OWD course offered by our school.

Participants must be at least 12 years of age, and those below the age of 18 must have the consent of their legal guardian.
