What is the Rescue course?

A special course for advanced divers seeking to master diving rescue skills and first aid, which are a prerequisite for all diving trainers.

The course includes:

Five theoretical lessons expanding knowledge in the areas of self-protection, stress management, first aid procedures, management of emergency situations, including those related to gear, applied to the development of rescue skills in open water through model exercises over 2-3 days in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia or as part of diving trips.

Prior to qualification, the student must have passed the EFR course and a CPR course (first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation) within the past 24 months (the one-day course is available from the Czech Red Cross or another authorised organisation).

Course price: CZK 3,900 (EUR 150)

The price includes instructional materials, international certificate, theoretical and practical instruction, membership in Devil Diving Club Olomouc (providing discounts on club events, gear purchases, etc.) and photographs from your course. The price does not include dive costs and gear rental.

Dates and conditions:

Upon agreement in the form of individual training days in the Czech Republic, extended weekends in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, in connection with diving trips.

Students must have the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or its equivalent from another organisation, or the course must immediately follow the AOWD course at our school (in which case students receive a 20% discount).

Candidates must have at least 20 logged dives.

A 10% discount is also provided to those who recommend the course to a friend.

Participants must be at least 12 years of age; those under the age of 12 must have the consent of their legal guardian.
